Plant Protection
According to the German guidelines for electric circuit systems, structural facilities must be protected against fire in such a way that their functionality will be guaranteed for a sufficient time. (Please see the German (Muster-)LeitungsanlagenRichtlinie MLAR 5.1.1. “Funktionserhalt von elektrischen Leitungsanlagen im Brandfall” for further reference). The examination for the functional integrity is executed according to the German Industrial Standard DIN 4102 part 12.
EAS offers a certified overall-system as regards to fire protection and electrical engineering, which can be flexibly adapted to the fire protection target and to the existing situation on site: Our fire protection cabinets (free-standing or for on-wall installation) with a fire-resistance of 30 respectively 90 minutes are designed and built in Germany according to latest quality standards.

Safety Facilities in the Technical Center of an Industrial Company
The local conditions where the electric distributions were situated required a fire resistance of at least 90 minutes. The EAS solution: Different SECURUS on-wall and floor-standing cabinets from multi-layer fire-resistant materials. This made sure that both the targets regarding fire protection as well as electrical engineering complied with the legal requirements.
