Social Commitment
Sponsorship with PLAN International
Growing up in a developing country often means to lead a life in poverty and exploitation. Many people even lack the basic necessities, like food, hygienic and primary health care. Moreover, many children in poverty and rural regions have very limited access to educational institutions. However, education is the best way out of poverty. Young women and girls are even more disadvantaged than boys.
We from EAS would like to make a long-term contribution to improve the situation of underprivileged people in the world.
Therefore, we decided to take over a sponsorship for a girl in Tanzania, whom we would like to give the chance for a better future.
We have been experiencing Plan International as an excellently networked, authentic and economically reasonably working organisation. Not least our own experiences from among our colleagues finally led us to the decision to support exactly this organisation.
