Early Smoke and Fire Detection
The manufacturing trade is exposed to many challenges, like highest quality requirements, increasing complexity of technological processes as well as the demand for permanent delivery capacities in spite of reduced warehouse stocks. Only those companies which are able to provide a permanent availability of its installation engineering will survive in the long run.
Equipment failures which are often caused by high temperatures or incipient fires, can only be safely excluded by a very sensible monitoring of the plant engineering.
For this purpose EAS offers its safety system for early smoke and fire detection SECURUS 90, which permanently controls and analyses the temperature and the smoke concentration, being the most important potential sources of fire, directly in the switch cabinet and quickly and reliably warns of emerging dangers.

Increase of the availability of the technical facilities
In order to reach the highest possible availability for its technical facilities, EAS and the Eigenbetrieb Stadtentwässerung Mannheim (EBS Mannheim) developed a facility concept which safely prevents business interruptions caused by a fire or high temperatures in the switch cabinets.
EBS Mannheim decided on SECURUS 90, because it ideally combines function with simplicity. This means that the in-house maintenance staff is now able to realize the monitoring of its switch gears gradually by themselves.

Protection of the plant engineering
For almost 70 years, the company BASS GmbH & Co. KG in Niederstetten has been developping, producing and manufacturing high-precision products for the thread production. The special ambient conditions in some production areas had always been an enormous challenge for the control and monitoring systems. This is the reason why the company decided to purchase SECURUS 90. Thanks to its central control possibility the maintenance staff is able to react very quickly on appearing problems.
